LT3 Releases Statement Following Shooting at NH Country Club

From Executive Director Jordan Estrada:

“Saturday’s shooting at the Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, New Hampshire is a tragic moment for us all, and our prayers are with the family of Robert Steven DeCesare and the others injured in this attack. As a NH-based non-profit working to end mass violence, it is sobering and heart-wrenching to see this violence so close to home. The September 20th attack is the first recorded NH mass shooting since 1997 (The Colebrook rampage), but many other states and communities have not enjoyed such long periods of peace. There have been 376 shootings reported so far in 2025, and many of these, such as the recent Annunciation Catholic Church shooting in Minneapolis, MN follow the tragic-but-familiar narrative we’ve come to associate with mass murder.

Little is known yet about the motives of the NH country club attacker, and it’s too early to do anything more than grieve with the affected families and communities. With the knowledge that it is never enough, LT3 honors the victims and their families by studying and analyzing the details of each mass shooting to learn better ways to prevent future attacks from occurring. We will continue to work to provide mental health care and intervention to individuals at-risk of contemplating violence. We will continue to advocate for awareness on the existence of potential perpetrators, and the best methods for off-ramping them onto a path that leads to hope and recovery instead of violence. We will continue to support churches, schools, and companies in promoting organizational health and safety.

But today, we grieve with our friends and neighbors in Nashua.”
